The Copenhagen Party Tablespace for more than 500 guests 1 Week of breathtaking competitions and more entertainment Situated in Copenhagen in a large school with all facilities... Three cinemas and one BIG screen! 1. INTRODUCTION Three years ago the first Mulleparty was held. That time only about 30 attended Next year the word had travelled, and about 100 people came. There were many reasons for this success and one is that the facilities of the partyplace are of such a quality that they will definitely impress any guest! This year the party has changed name to TCP, which stands for The Copenhagen Party. Some still prefer to refer to it as Mulleparty, but as long as everyone know what they are talking about, it is fine with us. 2. WHERE, HOW & WHEN A large school very close to Copenhagen, Denmark It starts 29th of June and lasts until the 6th of July 1997. The entrance fees will be: Scene seats : 350,- Dkr (About 60 US $) Balkony seats : 300,- Dkr (About 50 US$) Classrooms : 1500,- Dkr* (About 250 US$) We do not accept foreign currencies, and we are not able to exchange. We do not cash checks as well as we do not accept any creditcards. * - Up to 10 people can be in one room. Less people are ofcourse allowed. Note that there are only 14 classrooms there, so you should better order a while ahead So far the total amount of prizes accumulates to : 100.000,-Dkr, but we hope to reach 250.000. The tickets can ONLY be bought through Billetnet in all the countries p&p offices. If all tickets are not sold before the party, it will be possible to buy tickets at the entrance. As a special bonus to our guests you can call us and obtain a floor-plan so you are able to point out exactly where your seat should be. FACILITIES Our kitchen will supply you with both homemade, hot food and icecold drinks at prices that everyone can afford during the entire party. 2 classrooms will be used as cinemas, showing movies just about 24 hours a day One or two movies will be shown on the big screen too. A network will be established. All you need is to plug in your computer. During the party there will be lotteries and other ways to win some of the great prices. There will be sleeping facilities in a gym where you can rest in peace (RIP!) There are toilets and baths enough for everyone to have a good hot (or cold) shower now and then. And as the school is situated quite near the beach, remember your bathing clothes rubberducks etc. As the party will last for a whole week, you have plenty of time to get to know people aswell as finish your productions for the competitions. The multi-user-dungeon game "Valhalla" will be available on the network to play for everyone. There will be an electrician present at the party 24h a day, 7 days a week to ensure no nasty power failures. 4. COMPETITIONS Amiga Demo: Maximum size is 5Mb. Maximum duration is 10 minutes. Resolution (See the graphic competition) Must exit on mouse-click Only one demo pr. coder. Will be shown on an A1230/50mhz/4mb Fast Please inform the organizers whether you like the music to be mono or stereo! PC Demo: Maximum size is 5Mb. Maximum duration is 10 Minutes. Resolution (See graphic competition) Must exit on . Must support AWE32, GUS or NoSound. Only one demo pr. coder. Must either be able to autodetect soundcard or have a setup program. Will be shown on a Pentium 166, 32Mb ram, blahblah (ups!), Matrox Mystique 4MB, GUS - AWE32. Amiga Sponsor demo: As in Amigademo. Must contain sound and graphics. Should be able to loop. Must be able to run on a 68030 16Mb fast and 260 MB hd. The demo has to run from harddisk. Must exit on mouseclick or escape. The name "Betafon" must be mentioned somewhere in the demo. The name of the author must be shown either in the beginning / the end of the demo, and not for more than 5 seconds Betafon reserves the right to exclude demos from the competition. PC Sponsor demo: (argh!) The demo must contain both graphic&sound The demo must run on this platform: 166MhzPentiumbased PC, 16MB Ram, 8xcdrom 2Mb SVGA. The demo must be no larger than 40 MB The demo may not contain the following elements: Offensive statements, graphics& sounds. Violate Copyrights, Trademarks and Blah. The Commodore Logo in coherence with any statements, Graphics nor Sound. PC 64K Intro: Max 65536 bytes. Must be able to autodetect soundhardware (AWE32 or GUS) Must exit on Must be one file. May not use external files&libraries&etc Amiga 40K intro: Max size : 40960 bytes. Must exit on mouseclick. Has to be one file and thereby, must not use external libraries at all. In all other respects the rules from the AMIGA demo competition applies. 4-Channel Music: Maximum 4 channels (says itself, no? ;-) Maximum size is 720K. A maximum of 3 minutes will be played. Only one module pr. musician is allowed. If other formats than .mod is used, a player must be included. Contributors must state if they want the module played in mono or stereo If more than 30 contributions comes in a jury will select the ones that compete in the final competition. Multi channel music : Maximum 32 channels Maximum size is 1.44 MB A maximum of 3 minutes will be played. Only one module pr. Musician. If other formats than .xm or S3M is used a player must be included. If more than 30 contributions comes in a jury will select the ones that compete in the final competition. All modules will be played in stereo with AWE32 in a suitable tracker (eg. Screamtracker 3 for S3Ms and FastTracker for XMs) All other formats will be played with the player supplied by the musician. Graphic competition : Maximum size is 1.44MB. Maximum resolution is 1280*1024 Must be drawn by hand/mouse (NO TRACING) Only one contribution pr. graphician.
