Here's a couple screen shots for those who are
eternally hungry for screen layout ideas.

MotifIsh.GIF:

Well, this is my preferred layout. I use it every day and don't change.
It's easy on my eyes, and on my ageing monitor.
The Motif window controls are modified (color-wise) but from the
chgctls21.zip package from Hobbes. Neat utility for the customizing fanatics

I like it because it has the launchpad set up a la the NeXTSTEP dockbar

As you can also see from this and the next, I have my partitions on the right
side along with the CD-ROM and floppy icon. The trash is at the bottom.
This is a throwback to my Macintosh days. I grew up on Apple IIs and
Macs, and I don't care how you feel ;-) .

Win95Ish.GIF:

Well, the colors are foobed, but hey, isn't screwups what win95 is all about?
Just testing the zero-border idea. I threw it in because I was bored.

Oh, yeah. Ed's Icons is a wonderful collection of icons. To refer back to the
macintosh, I think the GUI guys for Copeland have a MAJOR clue about how
to make an OS look good. Hats off to them. (most of the folder icons come from
there, although a few are NeXT-ish)

Happy hacking!
