Comments:
I respect the reviewers at Radium very much. You people are thorough, to say the least.
You know what you're talking about :-).

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I'll respect and learn from whatever comments you
have about my map. Keep in mind that this is my FIRST map. Don't expect anything along
the lines of Crossfire.

Now for the actual map comments. As I said, this is my first map, so I decided to start
small. I took the tutorials at Wavelength, played around a bit, and made an arena type
deal. Its a little reminiscent of the Rocket Arena 1 on 1 areas. Its a simple two floor
map, with a large elevator shaft in the center (hence the name), and a bunch of other
goodies thrown in to keep things interesting (you didn't think i was going to hand in a
box, did you?). There was an RPG in the original version, but after playtesting I found
that this was too powerful for the level, and it was removed. An egon is not included
because it would dominate the level. There is however a Gauss cannon tucked away in
a somewhat secret area (you should find it pretty easily).

I kept the lighting subtle (I've noticed that most of the better maps don't try to induce
epilepsy through QRAD).

I'll admitt that I don't fully understand the meaning of e_poly and w_poly r_speeds, but
I do know that the map runs smoothly on a p200 in software mode, so I don't think you're
in for a slideshow.

So, in short, its a small level that shies away from the power weapons and works best with
a small number of players.
