BLENDER(SONGINFO)

Embrace the lightBLENDER

"Embrace the light" was our first .XM module. It is inspired by Enigma and
should be quite relaxing to listen to. We entered this tune in the multi-
channel competition at the Gathering '96. The tune itself was made earlier,
infact autumn '95. You'll find some strange sounds in it, like feedback,
metal stick, piano loop :) and voices by Vegard! and our friend Jimi.
Enjoy!

ShiftlessBLENDER

"Shiftless" is our try at combining jazz/hiphop into a triphop-alike style.
It was first intended for an intro(we've got a 40k version available, anyone?)
but we thought the tune was good enough to make a decent song of. The drumloop
was made on Lone Wolf's Roland TD5 drum module, and processed in a sampling
program. Notice the rhythm in this song, some parts includes 7/8 beat.
The "Shiftless" means "slapp / lat" in norwegian. Dedicated to CUBiK and
Snuffy. (and a to ourselves ;)

Petite AmieBLENDER

A jazzy experience! Nous sommes tres beau! :) .. Perhaps our best tune ever.
You should listen this ALL THE WAY through (the other tunes also!), 'cause
in the end we've got some vocalbabe stuff waiting for you! :) Try to stamp
your feet along with the groove, and you'll get trouble (unless you know your
musical theory :) and, hmm. yeah, we really hope you like this one.

CrushBLENDER

What is a PC musicdisk without techno? like a donut without a hole? .. yeah,
something like that.. So, we include some techno for you. Is it good or is it
bad? We don't know. We just made it.
Originally, this piece should've been used in a movie (!) (amateur of course)
in an enhanced version. Well, it didn't work out, so we wanted it for a demo.
Well, it didn't work out, so we put it on this musicdisk instead. ... BOOM
BOOM BOOM BOOM...

Brontoskopets makt(vegard)BLENDER

"Brontoskopets makt" is my (Vegard!) first drum and base tune ever, and one
of my first tunes composed on an PC. Earlier I've been doing modules for the
Amiga for some years (nearly 7 years :>). Ok, this tune is composed with very
little equipment, I had to borrow a 486 with lousy sound (NO GUS, that is :<)
And I had to sample all the samples from various CDs (my synth were at my
grandparents ... don't ask why!) Anyway, I made this tune, just to prove
that I can make drum and base (Jungle, whatever) without long drumloops.
In other words, there are NO drumloops in this tune. I spent about 3-4 days
on this small project, I hope you all like it ... Vegard's outa here ...
Think about it ... --- ...

Fall in Four Seasons(lonewolf)BLENDER

Fall in four seasons was made spring '96. It's one of my serious attempts at
making soft ballade/guitar/relaxy style. It entered the Tekno MIDI competition
and got good marks. The sound is a bit plastic, but since i don't have a
guitar (also doesn't know how to play one), and don't have a synth, i couldn't
easily make it more acoustic. Drum samples are from my own TD5 compact drum
system (digital drumkit ;). Well, that's all there is to say, i guess .....
hmm... female behaviour is inspiring, you know :).
