I.	Patch Description:

   Problem Symptoms:  Storage units in a raid 3/5 set may appear hung
     when they encounter a device Medium Error on one of the physical
     members.  Eventually the device will go inoperative and would fail 
     out of the raidset. 

   Solution: Corrected code that allowed this condition to occur.
