       IS INSTALLED JUST LIKE ANY OTHER  APPLICATION.  
 IMPLY RUN YOUR  PROGRAM.  HEN USING THE  FILE COPY 
 PROCESS COPY  TO A WORKING DISK ALONG WITH ANY OTHER  
 APPLICATION TO WHICH YOU WILL BE TRANSFERRING YOUR  
 GRAPHS. (O COPY A GEOS FILE FROM ONE DISK TO ANOTHER IN A ONE 
 DRIVE SYSTEM FOLLOW THESE STEPS: 1. LICK ON THE FILE AND DRAG IT 
 TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN AND CLICK AGAIN.  2. LOSE THE DRIVE 
 BY CLICKING ON THE DESKTOP CLOSE BUTTON IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER 
 OF THE DESKTOP WINDOW.  3. EMOVE THE ORIGINAL DISK AND INSERT 
 YOUR WORKING DISK AND CLICK ON THE   ICON TO OPEN THE 
 WORKING DISK.  4.  LICK ON THE FILE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN, 
 DRAG IT TO THE DESKTOP WINDOW AND CLICK AGAIN.  5.  OW READ AND 
 FOLLOW THE  PROMPTS TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS).  F YOU HAVE A 
 TWO DRIVE SYSTEM, SIMPLY DRAG THE FILE TO THE RIVE ICON YOU WISH 
 TO COPY TO AND CLICK.

      O USE , SIMPLY DOUBLE CLICK ON THE  ICON.  
 FTER A FEW SECONDS THE  WINDOW WILL OVERLAY THE DESKTOP 
 WINDOW.  OU WILL SEE "   64" IN THE CENTER OF THE 
 SCREEN AND THE FIRST  MENU BOX AT THE TOP OF THE  
 WINDOW.  HE  MENU OPTIONS ARE ABBREVIATED SO THAT THE 
 NUMBER OF MENU BOXES COULD BE LIMITED TO TWO.  HIS FIRST MENU 
 WILL BE REFERRED TO IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS AS THE  MENU SINCE 
  IS ITS FIRST OPTIONS.  HE OPTIONS ARE EXPLAINED BELOW:
 
            - HIS OPTION DRAWS A DATA TABLE ON THE LEFT SIDE 
 OF THE  WINDOW TO ALLOW YOU TO ENTER DATA.  LICKING ON 
  WILL DRAW THE DATA TABLE, DISPLAY ANY CURRENT DATA AND PLACE 
 THE CURSOR AT THE TOP OF THE TABLE  (OTE THAT SOME EARLIER MODEL 
 OF THE OMMODORE 64 THE CURSOR IS NOT VISIBLE FOR SOME REASON. T 
 IS STILL RELATIVELY EASY TO DETERMINE WHERE THE CURSOR IS BY 
 PRESSING  AND WATCHING FOR THE FLICKER.  OU MAY ALSO TRY 
 CHANGE THE  COLOR SETTINGS IF YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM). OU MAY 
 ENTER DATA (NUMBER BETWEEN 0 AND 65,000, NO DECIMALS) BY TYPING 
 THE NUMBER AND PRESSING  AFTER EACH ENTRY.  OU MAY USE THE 
 DELETE KEY ONLY TO CORRECT MISTAKE BEFORE PRESSING .  OU 
 MAY EDIT CURRENT DATA BY SIMPLY TYPING OVER IT AND PRESSING 
 .
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL RETURN THE CURSOR TO THE FIRST 
 ENTRY POSITION IN THE DATA TABLE TO ALLOW YOU TO EDIT OR ENTER 
 NEW DATA.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL MOVE THE CURSOR DOWN TO THE 
 NEXT DATA ENTRY POSITION.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL MOVE THE CURSOR UP TO THE NEXT 
 DATA ENTRY POSITION.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL SWITCH BETWEEN THE . AND 
 . DATA ENTRY POSITION.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL ZERO OUT ALL DATA.   
 

            - LICKING ON  WILL SWITCH TO THE  
  MENU WHICH HAS ADDITIONAL OPTIONS.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL CLEAR THE DATA TABLE FROM 
 THE SCREEN, BUT IT WILL NOT ZERO OUT THE DATA.  HE DATA TABLE 
 AND THE DATA CAN BE REDISPLAYED BY CLICKING ON , , , ,

 
            - LICKING ON  WILL EXIT  AND RETURN TO THE 
 .  OU DATA AND GRAPH WILL BE LOST UNLESS YOU HAVE USE THE 
  OPTION TO SAVE YOUR DATA AND THE  OPTION TO COPY YOUR 
 GRAPH INTO A    FILE.
 
      S NOTED ABOVE  ALSO HAS A SECOND MENU THAT WILL BE

            - LICKING ON  WILL CLEAR THE GRAPH AREA ON 
 THE SCREEN AND DRAW THE GRAPH SCALE FOR YOU TO LATER DRAW VARIOUS 
 TYPES OF GRAPHS FROM THE DATA TABLE.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL LOAD DATA THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY 
 SAVED WITH THE  OPTION.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL SAVE ALL OF THE DATA TO A 
  FILE THAT CAN BE LOADED LATER WITH THE  OPTION.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL COPY THE GRAPH THAT IS 
 CURRENTLY DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN INTO A SPECIAL PHOTO SCRAP FILE 
 THAT CAN BE PASTED BACK INTO  USING THE  OPTION OR 
 PASTED INTO ANY  USING THE PASTE FUNCTION.  NCE IN 
  THE GRAPH CAN BE CUT AND PASTED JUST AS ANY OTHER 
 STANDARD  PICTURE.  LEASE NOT THAT THE  PHOTO SCRAP 
 FILE IS TOO BIG TO PASTE INTO  DIRECTLY, BUT AFTER 
 PASTING IT INTO  IT CAN BE COPIES FROM  TO 
  OR FROM  TO A   AND THEN TO .  
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL ACTIVATE A SIDE  WINDOW 
 WHICH WILL ALLOW YOU TO SET CERTAIN ASPECTS OF HOW  WILL 
 GRAPH YOUR DATA.  HIS  WINDOW WILL BE EXPLAINED IN MORE 
 DETAILS LATER IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL DRAW A GRAPH ON TOP OF 
 WHATEVER IS ALREADY DISPLAYED IN THE GRAPH AREA ON THE SCREEN.  
 T IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT  DOES NOT CLEAR THE GRAPH SCREEN 
 AREA BEFORE IT DRAWS THE GRAPH.  HIS FEATURE ALLOW YOU TO DRAW 
 GRAPH ON TOP OF OTHER GRAPHS USING THE SAME OR DIFFERENT DATA.  
 THE TYPE OF GRAPH THAT WILL BE DRAWN AND THE CHARACTERISTICS OF 
 THE GRAPH WILL DEPENDING ON THE SETTING IN THE  WINDOW.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL SWITCH TO THE  MENU.
 
            - LICKING ON  WILL PASTE A GRAPH THAT HAS BEEN 
 COPIED BY THE  OPTION BACK TO THE  GRAPH SCREEN AREA.  
 OTE THAT   OPTION CREATES A STANDARD PHOTO SCRAP FILE 
 WITH THE EXCEPTION THAT  USING ITS OWN ICON INSTEAD OF 
 THE STANDARD SCISSORS SO THAT YOU CAN DISTINGUISH  PHOTO 
 SCRAP FILES FROM OTHERS.  TTEMPTING TO PASTE OTHER PHOTO SCRAP 
 FILES INTO  MAY PRODUCE UNPREDICTABLE RESULTS.

      HE  OPTION IS WHAT MAKES  SO VERSATILE.   IS 
 ON THE  MENU AND CLICKING ON IT WILL DRAW TWO ADDITIONAL 
 WINDOWS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SCREEN.  LEASE NOTE THAT THESE 
  WINDOWS DO NOT REQUIRE YOU TO CLICK TO SELECT FROM THEM.  O 
 SELECT MOVE THE POINTER DOWN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE WINDOW ENSURING 
 NOT TO GO INSIDE.  HEN THE POINTER IS DIRECTLY TO THE LEFT OF 
 THE OPTION YOU WISH TO SELECT MOVE THE POINTER TO THE RIGHT OVER 
 THE OPTION.  HE OPTION WILL BE SELECTED AND THE POINTER WILL 
 IMMEDIATELY JUMP BACK TO THE LEFT AND OUTSIDE OF THE WINDOW FOR 
 YOU TO MAKE YOU NEXT SELECTION.  HE OPTION FROM THE  WINDOWS

            -  ONTROLS THE TYPE OF GRAPH THAT WILL BE DRAWN

 IN THE BOTTOM  WINDOW.
 
           - AND - - HESE TWO OPTION CONTROL THE 
 HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL SCALES SO THAT YOU CAN WORK WITH LARGE 
 NUMBERS.  OTE THAT THE VERTICAL SCALE ON  ONLY GOES AS 
 HIGH AS 110 AND THE HORIZONTAL SCALE ONLY GOES AS HIGH AS 160.  
  WILL GRAPH UP TO A VERTICAL NUMBER UP 149 AND A 
 HORIZONTAL NUMBER UP TO 164 BEFORE AUTOMATICALLY INCREASING THE 
 SCALING FACTOR AS EXPLAINED BELOW.  OTE THAT VERTICAL NUMBER 
 LARGER THAN 110 WILL BE DRAWN OUTSIDE OF THE GRAPH AREA AND WILL 
 BE CUT OFF.  HESE TWO OPTIONS ALLOWS YOU TO ADJUST THE SCALING 
 FACTORS TO DIVIDE ALL DATA ELEMENTS BY 1, 10, 100, 1000, OR 
 10,000 TO FORCE LARGER NUMBER TO FIT WITHIN THE SCALE.  OVING 
 THE POINTER OVER THESE OPTIONS WILL CYCLE THROUGH 1, 10, 100, 
 1000 AND 10,000.  LEASE NOTE THAT  WILL AUTOMATICALLY 
 ADJUST THESE SCALING FACTOR TO ACCOMMODATE THE LARGEST DATA 
 ELEMENT.  NCE A SCALING FACTOR HAS BEEN INCREASED EITHER BY YOU 
 OR BY  IT WILL RETAIN ITS VALUE UNTIL YOU CHANGE YOURSELF 
 OR UNTIL  ATTEMPT TO GRAPH A DATA ELEMENT LARGER THAN THE 
 ONE WHICH FORCED THE LAST SCALING FACTOR INCREASE.  
 
             - HIS OPTION ALLOW YOU TO SELECT WHICH OF THE
