Before installing the latest version of driver software, please uninstall any previous version of software components if there is any.

1. Disconnect your product’s USB cable from the computer.

2. Download the following files and save all files to the same directory.

*The files needed for installing the scanner are “Twain Driver and Panel” and “Generic Scanning Module”. You can either download all the individual “Web” and “up_lib” files, or the complete set by downloading both of the “Download All” buttons.

3. Installing the files onto you computer.

Execute the “Twain Driver and Panel” file first. A blue screen with a dialogue box will appear asking you to choose your language. Select the language that you would like to use during the installation and click on OK. When the installation has completed, you will be prompted to restart your computer. DO NOT restart your computer.

Next, run the “Generic Scanning Module” file. You will see the below appear, and the installation will automatically start.

If you receive the error below, please click on Ignore and the installation will continue.

When the installation is complete, the computer will again prompt you to restart. You can now restart your computer.

4. When the computer has finished rebooting, connect the product to the computer.
A “Found New Hardware Wizard” will appear, see image below. Please select The Recommended option and click on the Next button to continue on with the installation.

The following dialogue box may appear at this point asking you if you would like to continue the installation.

Please click on Continue Anyways to complete the hardware installation successfully.
(Note: Our driver has been testing for Windows XP-compatible certification by Microsoft at this moment. It is safe to run. )
