Omni 128 BBS

By

Omni Software

Introduction:

Omni software, if I'm not mistaken, was founded by Brian Bell, the original author. Omni 128 was the the only product I'm aware of from Omni software, but it is a true gem. Support was later transfered to someone who calls themself Mad Max. More information is being gathered about this change over.

I should say firstly, that in the selection of catagories for the "Facts" area, I placed the catagory of "network" under "transfers" with very little expectation of finding a program that would actually support binaries over the network.

Having never seen an Omni 128 BBS, I can't really say much more. I can say from reading that Omni 128 fact sheet that it has some amazing network support, and an unbelievable assortment of transfer protocols.

The Facts:

The information below was derived off of the Omni 128 fact sheet, meaning that some aspects were assumed, inferred, or guessed at. I put "?" marks by those aspects I am unsure of. I'm sure a nice Omni 128 SysOp will help me out with them.
