ASTRasoft was formed in 1988 by David Oakley and Graham Harrison in
Stoke-on-Trent, England. Our aim is to produce useful products, presented
in a new, exciting way. ASTRAsoft's public releases so far have been:

DeskTracker A ProTracker MOD player with a simple, stylish
user interface and features such as spectrum
analyser, oscilloscope and pre-loading of songs
when in memory mode. DT was released as shareware
in April 1993 and has a growing base of registered
                        users.

The Collection A selection of shareware utilities and other
interesting programs, including serial and MIDI
buffer increasers, a MiNT terminal emulator, a
replacement for the standard Atari busy bee as
well as DeskTracker and HD Free.

HD Free A compact utility to show the free space on your
hard drive using a unique pie chart method. This
is shareware, and the registration fee entitles
you to its sequel, HD Look, which allows you to
zoom into each drive to see contents.

Storm! A revolutionary new ProTracker MOD editor, using
the standard GEM interface for ease-of-use. To be
released as ASTRAsoft's first commercial program
                        in May 1994.

David Oakley [Head Programmer/Design], a Software Enginneering student at
Birmingham University is currently taking a year out in industry using
very large UNIX machines. He owns a Mega STe/4 and spends most of his time
programming it in Lattice C5 or Devpac 2. Hobbies include cycling, being
completely knackered after cycling, badminton, movie going and will be
back taking part in discussions on the UseNet international conferencing
system when he gets back to uni...

Graham Harrison [Programmer/QA/Legal], alias Roll The Dice, is a student
doing Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at Keele, though the
first of the two subjects is the one he prefers. Graham owns a Mega STe/4
which he connects up to a TNC which connects up to a rather big ariel on
his roof. It's all to do with Packet Amateur Radio which he's active on
when he has time off from being Charlie Chalk at the local pub...

Howard Tomlinson [Design/Programmer/QA], is a recent addition to
ASTRAsoft, taking on the role of musical expert. He's currently doing
Physics at Keele University where he helps out at the roleplaying club.
Had owns a 4Mb STe which he programs to do things that noone else would
ever want to use. Probably. He's also a pretty impressive pianist and a
bit of a composer to boot.

ASTRAsoft products are not for distribution to the public on any form of
media (specifically including Public Domain/Shareware Libraries and
Magazines with coverdisks) unless permission is granted in the
associated text file or be the express permission of either David Oakley
or Graham Harrison, who form the ASTRAsoft partnership. The names
'ASTRAsoft', 'Astra Software' and the 'A' and planet logos are the trading
symbols of the Harrison/Oakley partnership.
