Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) is prerequisite. If your computer does not have WMI installed, go to Microsoft's web site and down load the latest WMI and install it first. 2. Start Windows 98SE. 3. Extract this package to the hard disk drive. 4. Click Start, then click Run. 5. In the Open field, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLLANPHL\SETUP.EXE and click OK to install the Wireless LAN software. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. 6. Follow the instructions on the screen. 7. Restart the system. Windows NT 4.0 1. Start Windows NT 4.0. 2. Click "Start", click "Settings" and click "Control Panel". 3. Double-click "Network" icon. 4. If this is the first time to configure the Network, it will display "Network Configuration" dialog box, then proceed to the next step. If not, go to step 14. 5. Click "Yes" button. 6. Select "Wired to the network". 7. Click "Next>" button. 8. Click "Select from list..." button. 9. Click "Have Disk.." button. 10. Type the path to the directory that contains the OEMSETUP.inf file in Insert Disk dialog box. 11. Click "OK" button. 12. Select "Dual-Band Wi-Fi Wireless Mini-PCI Adapter" or "11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter". 13. Follow the instructions that follows and reboot the system. 14. Click "Adapters" tab. 15. Click "Add..." button. 16. Click "Have Disk..." button. 17. Type the path to the directory that contains the OEMSETUP.inf file in Insert Disk dialog box. 18. Click "OK" button. 19. Select "Dual-Band Wi-Fi Wireless Mini-PCI Adapter" or "11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter". 20. Click "OK" button. 21. Click "Close" button. 22. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen. 23. Click "Yes" when prompted to restart the computer. 24. Run Setup.exe and follow the instructions.
