Installation instructions
-------------------------

This driver can be silently installed by following the
instcructions in the next section.

Please confirm that the driver is correctly installed,
by determining the installed driver version as described below.


Installation instructions with Crysetup Installer
-------------------------------------------------
 1. Start Windows XP and log on with a user ID authorized as an
    administrator.
 2. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, and then click
    Command Prompt.
 3. Type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\AUDIO\CRYSETUP -S and then press the Enter key. 
    If you extracted the driver to a different location, then specify
    that location instead.  The installation will be completed without
    any notification in about 1 minute.
 4. Type exit and press the Enter key to close the Command Prompt Window.

Determining which version is installed
----------------------------------------
 1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, click Manage, click Device
    Manager, then click Sound, video and game controllers.
 2. Confirm the Crystal devices: Crystal WDM Audio Codec.
 3. Right-click Crystal WDM Audio Codec and then click Properties.
 4. Select the Driver tab, and then click Driver details.
 5. Confirm that the last 4 digits of the Driver Version are 4143.
