This package installs an update to the Microsoft(R) Windows(R)
NT 4.0 device driver for the SoundMAX audio adapter that comes 
preinstalled in your IBM(R) computer. This update requires 
approximately 5.15 MB of space on your hard disk (drive C).

This update package is intended for IBM Aptiva machine type 
2194-xxx, except for models 23B, 32B, and 441, and IBM NetVista 
machine type 2251-xxx, 2271-xxx, 6266-xxx, 6269-xxx, 6270-xxx, 
6276-xxx, 6568-xxx, 6569-xxx, 6578-xxx, 6579-xxx, 6648-xxx,
6649-xxx, 6830-xxx, 6831-xxx, 6837-xxx, 6838-xxx, 6840-xxx,
6841-xxx, 6847-xxx, and 6848-xxx that comes with a preinstalled
SoundMAX audio adapter. 

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.  

Downloading the update
----------------------
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.

INSTALLING THE UPDATE
---------------------
1.  Click Start, highlight Find, then click Files or folders.
2.  Type d66z11us.exe in the search box, then click Find Now.
    This will locate the d66z11us.exe file you just downloaded. 
3.  Double-click the icon for d66z11us.exe.
4.  Click Next. 
5.  Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. 
6.  Click Next. 
7.  Ensure that Save files in folder is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\D66Z11US.
8.  Click Next.
9.  The setup program will ren. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.
10. Shutdown and restart your system when the installation is complete.
